Abundance

Abundance flowers our paths wherever we walk. It's less a matter of how much we have and more a matter of what we're going to do with it all. When we transcend the impulse to hoard, we more clearly see how we have collectively inherited the precious blue sapphire called earth. We all own stock in the mothership. Our outer wealth is the same as our inner wealth. We are as wealthy as the planet that supports us.

In the card a pair of illuminated hands offers us the world in the form of a globe-headed Gaia. She poses sublimely while her face tilts on an axis of ecstasy seen in the light of the sun. Gaia's body is abundantly fleshy and beautiful. Rich soils and fertility symbols adorn her as she slowly dances on the woodland savanna of human origins. All around this goddess ten golden disks rain down in a vision of astronomical wealth. On each a ten-pointed mandala beams in meditation on the nature of wealth and the wealth of nature. Depending on your preferred imagery, either we have been given the planet and have conquered it, or we have evolved into a primary conscious lifeform on its skirts. Either way, the question remains the same: Now that we know of our wealth, how will we learn to use it wisely?
