We have become successful at fashioning homes out of the chaotic universe by harnessing the social and technical skills evolved from our amazing bodies. Collectively we forge stable environments and move beyond issues of individual survival to a place where we can explore and defend the rich potential of gardenship earth.

In the card a muscular figure squats on the stone squares of a seemingly lifeless universe as he balances a globe carefully above him. He is otherworldly. He is a god who resembles us and who distills the essence of the universe into a powerful blue body supporting a living world. The essences of the universe are represented by the four stone blocks around the figure, each of which is engraved with an alchemical symbol for one of the four elements. The sphere he upholds with great exertion is a complete ecosystem containing the perfect combination of air, fire, water, and earth. It symbolizes both the planetary body and our individual bodies. At the sphere's crown is a castle representing human civilization on the planet or heads for our individual bodies. The castle protects the inhabitants and provides them with the security necessary to explore and appreciate the rich encircling garden. Holding up the world takes much effort. The challenge is to learn how to uphold the whole world with the same mixture of grace and selfishness we employ to maintain our individual spheres.
