This is a gift of resources - likely money, raw materials, or time. It is probably the most straight-forward of the suits. For that reason, the gifts of Pentacles are not always as highly esteemed as the other suits' gifts, or sometimes they are overvalued and lead to greed for material wealth or obsession with sensuous living. Whatever form the gift takes, it is up to us - as the weasel reminds us here and like the Magician, Major Arcana I - to use our skill and determination to make something worthwhile of it.
